Description
Used to print system information.


Intro
First of all, open terminal or log in to the system if you not use any graphics.


Next Level
To print kernel name do
uname -s

For kernel release type
uname -r

In conjunction
uname -sr

Processor type is printed by -m option
uname -m

Togher will be
uname -mrs

To print all available information type
uname -a
